On Easter Sunday I took my two out cycling. Buster loved getting out on his new bike and cycled about for 40 minutes while I ran alongside K who had figured out how to ride her ‘big girls bike’ with no wee wheels!

Easter Monday we went out for the day to Carnfunnock park and the kids had a fantastic time- pics will follow! They then went on to a birthday party where Buster had his fist ever food filled Buster safe party bag- he loved it!

Easter Tuesday is a bank holiday over here so we were off. K was unwell and lay about the whole day and had a high temp. Buster went off to the farm with his aunty Julie while K slept and I painted the back hall and the front garden was tackled by a gardener!!!

That night K got worse and with a temp of 40.1 and no medicine due I brought her to the Out of hours doctors who tested her and diagnosed a kidney infection. Horrible medicine is now routinely given and cried over twice a day and finally she is starting to recover. Maybe she will get to eat some chocolate from Easter as she has only had one bite so far!

Friday the 29Th was another bank holiday due to the royal wedding- one I didn’t plan to watch. However CBeebies was full of wedding talk so K made us watch! She now wants to go to Buckingham palace and at times buster was being called William while she was Catherine.

We spent ages out shopping today for shorts for buster and even though it is only April they don’t seem to be in the shops! I finally got some in my last port of call- Tescos!

Home to do more painting in the back hall- there is still loads to do but it can wait for another day.

Tomorrow both Ricky and I are off so I plan to go out with the bikes again
