my week

My week that was

Monday was an early start to the day for a drive to Dublin to work on a new system implementation.  Spent the day in the office and then went back to the hotel where I got an executive suite!

Tuesday – still in Dublin and Buster had school photographs taken in nursery.  Stayed overnight in the hotel again.

Wednesday – another day in Dublin but left to drive home so MrR could work.  Got home just before my two fell asleep

Thursday – up early to get my two organised for school, met MrR in his work car park to hand over K for the school run and then left Buster to the child-minder before driving back to Dublin for the day.  Drove home again in the pouring rain!

Friday – a day in my office followed by chippy night at mum and dads although dad had to go to a work event so missed out!

Saturday- a day making monkeys.  K went to dancing and then we went shopping.

Sunday – more monkeys made today as well as my first dinosaur and a finished a doll too! We only ventured out to mum and dads for dinner.

Next week is a week in the office so not as much running or driving around!

again I am running behind due to this week being hectic. But here goes my week that was

Monday I had my Homestart voluntary work and in the evening had a support meeting too. My car got hit by a driver while I was sitting in their car that’s a very surreal experience!

Tuesday K and Buster are off all week for half term and MrR is mainly minding.

Wednesday – Halloween! K had her swimming lesson and I met them there with costumes and make-up.  Buster and K both were happy just to look like they had been pulled through a hedge backwards and loved their look! We went to my sisters for a party where they both got to go out trick or treating Buster was telling people he wasn’t allowed chocolate and was most insistent we checked his bucket for things he was allergic to!

Thursday a day in work and K and Buster were at their nannies.

Friday I took the day off work and we went out for a walk, played games and I did some sewing yet again.

Saturday MrR allowed me to sleep in so K missed her Irish dancing and Buster isn’t going to football in the winter I am not standing freezing at the side of a pitch!

Sunday MrR was off work so we had a day in the house just relaxing and enjoying doing nothing.  MrR made us a lovely Sunday dinner which of course my two didn’t appreciate but I loved it!  I sewed until midnight and then quickly threw some clothes into my suitcase and set the alarm for an early start for a work trip to Dublin

running two weeks behind again!

Monday a day in work and my first home visit volunteering for Home-start was cancelled.

Tuesday work again and Buster had his first school trip for an Autumn walk.  He got dropped off at school where he went by bus.  It just so happened his school trip was to the grounds of the building that is just across the field from our house!  He loved it and was full of talk about ducks and bats

Wednesday work again and K had her swimming lessons after school.  MrR said her instructor is a lot better this term and gets in with the children and is physically helping them and not just shouting instructions from the side of the pool.

Thursday yet another work day and nothing exciting to report.  K got taken back to the opticians and fitted for new glasses again as it seems her reaction was to the nickel in the ones we had picked

Friday finally paid for the repair of the flat roof, left it to the very last-minute but it did help that MrR got paid today it had been a very long month!

Saturday K went to Irish Dancing and Buster and I went to my mum and dads to visit while she danced.  Home to play in the house while I sewed. I tested the cloth dolls today for CE compliance so did both tension tests as well as setting the poor test doll on fire! Thankfully she passed.

Sunday went to mums and dads for dinner and did some more sewing of monkeys!
