Ok well first thing is we don’t live in England and secondly our garden leaves a lot to be desired.  When we moved into this house the garden was lovely and the house in runs but now its the opposite!

I have shown photos below of how it is now, the back garden is mainly finished we just need to figure something for the ground we had planned on artificial grass until we priced it up! The front garden is meant to be a lawn and a vegetable patch but it doesn’t look anything like it! Buster and I spent a couple of hours clearing old broken things from the play area as well as reinstating the curtains etc on the playhouse, now all we need is some sun!

So what would you suggest we do and how can we get the gardening bug! oh and add to that we still haven’t found a way to get shot of the red ants!

>I have wanted to change my blog design for a while now but haven’t had a chance.  I decided last night that as I couldn’t access my work systems it would be a good idea to start the changes I had planned.

The problem with this was I had only planned to make changes, I hadn’t planned what those changes would be, and I had a glass of wine on hand.

The result is the mess that can be seen on here today.  I will be changing it as soon as I get a chance as it looks dull, dreary and depressing now!

Bare with me and I promise a brighter blog will emerge from the ashes!

Lots of people find water features relaxing and love to install one in their property. We have never had one as I don’t think they are very safe and the fact our garden is a mess (apart from the lawn which now gets cut every two weeks!) .

So the fact that in January we realised we had a water feature under our solid wood floor in our bedroom came as a shock. The floor was laid last January after we had finished our extension and was put down so that we didn’t have to worry about replacing it. Just under a year later and it was back up, dehumidifiers were installed and the oak floor was being used as expensive fire wood.

Two months later after the radiator pipes were reinstalled and the insurance paid out we got another new oak solid floor laid. We got the room repainted and put the house on the market.
Fast forward a few months and the floor was worrying me, it was starting to get a bit springy but I was assured that floating floors do this. Unfortunately we found out last week that yet again our floating floor was literally floating! The wooden floor and underlay are now stripped back again, the concrete has been dug out around the pipes and the dehumidifier is back in.

I am so fed up with this the amount of money we have spent in this room is ridiculous and it is still in a mess.
What’s the bets we get a call to say someone wants to view our house!
