This week was a busy one with lots of running around, thankfully next week is quieter!

Monday was a day at work and in the evening I should have been at my Home-start support meeting.  MrR took on an extra shift a work though so I ended up having to miss it and phone ahead with my apologies.  I spent the evening packing for the next day.

Tuesday was another early start at 04:10 and leaving the house at 05:10 for a flight to Manchester for work.  A busy day in work meant I only got to my hotel at 19:40! I then walked into the Trafford Centre for dinner at EstEstEst.

Wednesday a long important day at work which I was glad to get over me! Left work at 17:15 to get a flight home. K had a Jubilee day in school so went in wearing her home clothes as she calls them complete with her hat.

Thursday back into my office and after work a quick visit to the Beauticians then MrR went to work

Friday a day in work followed by an evening in Belfast doing a Bus tour and then dinner. K and Buster were being minded by my mum and when I went to collect them @ 21:30 they were both fast asleep and wanting a sleep over.  Mum kept them both for Busters first sleepover of his choice.  I went home via Asda and bought a new steam cleaner for the floor- am getting so boring! MrR was at work so I was home alone for the first time since we bought this house!

Saturday got up and steam cleaned the floors including the carpet! Then made two batches of cupcakes which sunk! Went shopping to buy some replacement cupcakes and then went to collect K and Buster.  k wouldn’t come home so brought Buster and got the house tided and set up for our Afternoon tea party.  At 14:30 my brother arrived with K and then brought K and Buster to his while the party was happening.  We had a lovely afternoon as per my post here. After everyone had left we went and bought some pizza without cheese and came home to eat dinner and watch Nanny McPhee

Sunday spent the morning at home followed by a trip out to the Castle grounds where we managed to catch a free acoustic performance by Oonagh Derby and band in the new studio which was a lovely surprise, buster loved it and was dancing away. Then Sunday dinner at mums before home to start making another puppet and cutting out one to sew up tomorrow!

There is no sign of a recession here, a Tuesday night and the shops were busy.  I bought dinner and nothing else!

This week was a busy one

Monday I was in Manchester with work, out of the house by 05:10 and home again just before 21:00.

Tuesday was another early start as I was going to Dublin with work and then combining it with a few days away with my two. We visited the zoo, went out for dinner and everyone but me crashed before 20:30

Wednesday we went into Dublin and went on a tour bus before visiting the beach and having a picnic.  Dinner out that evening and another earlyish night.

Thursday was MrR’s birthday and I had forgotten his cards.  He also either had already got all his presents or the promise of them so it was a bit of a nothing day for him. We visited a park and then started on the journey home

Friday back to school for K and work for me.  MrR started back last night.

Saturday a quiet day at home watching movies and doing crafts, both for me and my two.  Fire was lit as it is cold again, summer is over.

Sunday we played with playdoh this morning and then went out on the bikes again. Buster is doing really well on his bike but I think the fact the wheels are hard is stopping him getting any speed up- K had similar last year and we had to change bikes.  We then went out for tea at the cafe and a short walk before going to see my mum and dad who had just got home from holidays.  Buster and K were so excited to see them and loved their presents, Buster has gone to bed with his new teddy (now named Mario) and K has her new purse packed for school in the morning.  Once home my two went to bed and I started crafting.  I am now debating more crafting or baking or just giving up and going to bed!

Did I mention my blog is one year old today!!!
