My two love nothing more than doing craft work.  The promise of glue and doing some sticking is a great bribe incentive when out shopping etc! With Buster being allergic to chocolate we try to make Easter about more than just eggs although we aren’t particularly religious (although if you listened to my two you might think differently!).

We were very lucky to be sent some products from Asda that helped make easter special.  First up we got a kit for decorating eggs, bunnies and flowers this was a great hit and kept my two quiet and happy for a long time, the glitter glue was a great touch as glitter is something that is seldom allowed in this house.  We also received an easter hunt kit and this used numbers and not eggs which suited us. I hid the numbers 1-6 around the house and used the arrows to point Buster and K around the house .  They carried their little bags and ran around finding the numbers and adding each one to the bag before running to the next one. Once all 6 numbers were found the arrows pointed to underneath the puppet theatre where their bags (also supplied by Asda) were hiding with sweets inside.

Mr R has also bought a craft kit from Asda so Easter Sunday was spent playing and making paper bag puppets and eating sweets and chocolate in k’s case before going to my mum and dads for dinner x

We were sent a craft kit, treasure hunt set and two easter egg bags for the purpose of this review all opinions expressed are my own.

Another week gone, they are flying by and only three weeks left until the Marathon walk- ekkk

Monday we were off for Easter and played about the house with K and Buster.  MrR was off helping move furniture and K got a new wardrobe and chest of drawers, she is so overexcited about her new big girl furniture.

Tuesday another day off as we don’t get Good Friday over here. Brought my two out on their bikes and Buster is starting to get the hang of cycling on his own.

Wednesday an early start as I had to go to my Dublin office for work.  Thankfully got away early and had a quick lunch at the services, before going back into my own office. MrR had K and Buster and I got home to find them both dressed as Mr Tumble.

Thursday had a dentist’s appointment to get my bottom wisdom tooth taken out as it is growing crookedly.  After getting an x-ray (one that I stood up to get, going to a private clinic is a whole new world!) they decided it was too risky to do as the tooth was too close to the nerve and could cause paralysis of my lower lip and jaw! Instead I went back into work rather than have a sick day I didn’t need. After work we brought the dog out for a walk as a family which is a new thing as we live on a busy country road so haven’t really ventured out all together.

Friday another day in work and my two were at their grannies house.  Once work was done we had our normal visit to my parents for chippy night! My granny and Granda called in for a fleeting visit, so quick in fact they never sat down- they hate driving late in the evenings so wanted to get home quickly.

Saturday K was taken to the cinema with her cousins and enjoyed it, hopefully that means her fear has gone! While she was away mum and I brought Buster out cycling again and he really has got the hang of it now and just wanted one more turn!  He had been promised a bell for learning and after trying a few shops we tracked one down complete with compass! Afterwards we went back to my parents for a while where they played hide and seek, Buster loved taking part and having his turn of counting

Sunday another trip to mum and dads for Sunday dinner followed by yet another trip out cycling.  K loves getting a chance to go off and try going up and down the kerbs and doing tricks. Home to wake daddy and show off both of their skills!

so with only three weeks to go no walking was done! I need to get out a few times this week and plan a 20 mile walk on Saturday! if you could spare a £1 please consider sponsoring me www.justgiving.com/twopointfour

This week I got to stay at home and in the office and din’t have to travel.

Monday a day at work and K was off on a spring walk with school.  Buster was at the childminders and MrR was sleeping after working overnight.

Tuesday work again and K finished school for Easter

Wednesday MrR had both K and Buster and in the evening after work we took them up to play at their grandparents house on their flickers and Buster on his balance bike.

Thursday MrR was back to work so I had to cancel my beauticians appointment and spent the evening sewing.

Friday isn’t a bank holiday here for Good Friday as we get next Monday and Tuesday off so a normal work day.  Buster and K brought their bikes to their grandparents but Buster pretended he couldn’t use his.  When I got there he showed off and then when we went to my mum and dads for chips he loved showing how good he was getting. K is doing really well on her bike now and loves getting out and about.

Saturday we went out visiting mum and dad and then after a quick shop at asda which was madness we came home to do projects! K and Buster made Easter Bonnets followed by Easter cards while I made them dinner and made some marshmallow rice krispies, we didn’t make them as lollies this time.

Sunday, Easter Sunday Buster and K are going to Mass with their granny while I am hoping to get walking and try and do between 10-15 miles depending on how my toe does.  Afterwards its dinner at my mum and dads and no doubt lots of chocolate
