Day six
I think we are getting somewhere but it really does feel like groundhog day. Tackling pottytraining while on a week off was a good idea but going away for that week wasn’t one of our best choices!
Most people sit at home for the first few days of training whereas we have been out and about every day sometimes for hours at a time.
Today started ok with Buster wetting his night nappy just before we took it off he then waited a few hours before going on the potty.
We got ready and went out to Donegal to Rossnowlagh Beach and walked along it watching the freaks surfers that were out in the water in the freezing cold. Buster had an accident on the beach but as we had forgotten the potty and left it in the car it wasn’t really his fault.
After finishing up at the beach we drove to Boa island and went over on the ferry to Lusty Beg and had lunch. Buster used the toilet twice and had no accidents.
We got back and he fell asleep for a few hours and was dry he then went on the potty again. After dinner he took himself down the hall to hide as he had an accident and MrR ended up showering him clean again.
He had another success again and is now in his night nappy trying to avoid going to bed- he slept later this evening so is not at all tired now.
Day six ended with numerous successes and two accidents.
