Day 5 is there any end to this?
This morning Buster woke and rather than having his normally saturated nappy and often trousers he was bone dry! I was so shocked I was going to wake MrR to let him know but then caught myself on!
The morning started with all successes and we went out for a drive and picnic at lunchtime. We drove to the shop and then out for a walk through the forest (I will do a later blog on our week away complete with pictures) before stopping for a picnic beside the marina. At each stop we brought out the potty but although he sat on it he never performed.
After two hours we drove another 20 minutes went shopping in Asda for rice milk and glue- one is essential for Busters breakfast and the other will keep both K and Buster busy tomorrow making pictures. I brought him to the toilet but again he didn’t need to go.
We returned home after about 3 hours and both buster and I slept for two hours he woke up dry. He hadn’t been to the toilet in 6 hours and still no accidents. After trying the potty and the toilet he finally decided he needed to go.
After a while he decided he was tired and asked for his nappy for bed, once it was on within minutes he was dirty. I know some children won’t go in the potty and I really hope this is a problem we are going to have to face.
At about 21:00 Buster went to bed and he said pee coming need potty we came back out he went on the potty and then got back into bed.
Day 5 ended with numerous successes and one partial accident!
