Nope, I went to Britmums Live! last year

Are you attending both days?

yes but will be leaving slightly early on the Saturday to get my flight home

What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2013?

Catching up with my blogging and twitter friends, meeting new people, building relationships with brands,finding some sessions that suit me.

What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2013?

Tell us one thing about you that not everyone knows:

I am extremely shy and find it hard to walk into a room with people I don’t know

This year he had talked about it and when we were offered the chance to try an e-cigarette by Smoke relief I asked him if he would be interested.  He immediately agreed and we waited on the delivery.  A parcel arrived very quickly and MrR after pysching himself up started to try the product.

MrR has said the pros are as below:

• using the e-cigarette feels like smoking
• It overcomes the need to smoke by having something to keep the craving under control
• It is easy to use and can be used indoors
• there are no side effects
• it is very compact and easy to keep with you.

His cons are as below:

• he found the flavoured cartridges very sickening
• it is easy to overuse
• there is no way to tell whether the cartridge is empty or full.

We were given a starter kit and cartridges for this review and have gone on to buy the deluxe kit as MrR found only have one unit to charge meant he ran out when out and about. MrR is now down to 5 real cigarettes a day from having at least 20 and his moods have been fine and he has noticed he can taste food better.

As MrR is not able to smoke indoors he loves that he no longer has to stand outside in the rain!

Using these is not only helping MrR cut down it is also saving us a lot of money!

We will be back to order more refills for next month.

In asking me which one was right I took the easy option

R is with Great Granda Mickey – (neither MrR or I practise any religion)

Some days their simplistic way of looking at things literally takes my breath away on others though it makes me smile.  R is not forgotten and however they remember him is fine by me.  As both K and Buster were born after R died they never got the chance to meet him, to touch his tiny fingers and toes to have his curled fingers press against theirs – his tiny finger used to pulse against the inside of my hand and often calmed me down when I was getting overwhelmed.

They didn’t get to hold him, show him toys, play with him or talk to him but they did survive their pregnancies and births due to R and we owe him so much for this.

K and Buster have only ever seen pictures of R and even at that have no knowledge of the many albums we have stored away.  K has seen his memory box but Buster has yet to see it.  Neither have seen the video footage we have and to be honest neither have MrR or I . We took at least three tapes of film but to this day we haven’t been brave enough to watch them and in fact have no idea how we could watch them!

I am considering trying to find out how we can convert the films and show my babies their big brother

I just don’t know if I am brave enough and if this one step would bring down a carefully constructed barrier of memories and emotions.
