Sunflowerfest something for everyone

Last year we had our first trip out to a family friendly music festival that was only a short drive from home.  I posted about it here.

We have always said we will go back this year and I K and Buster are so excited about going again this year.  There is so much to see and do between music, dancing, child friendly activities (come see me in the Kidzone!) poetry and yoga to name just a few.

Sunflowerfest is set on a farm just outside Hillsborough and has camping that is split into families, noisy camping, quiet camping and teenage camping (with an adult),  There is a lot of security about which is great and everyone is checked for a wristband before being allowed into any of the campsites.  The site is keep extremely clean although last year there was little could be done about the mud- many seemed to find this an added bonus.  This year a lot of behind the scenes work has gone on to make the mud less of an issue which will be great especially for parking.

The line up can be seen below although this doesn’t include the other stages that will have music, games, etc happening.
