Poppy Cat, Birthday Treasure and other adventures – review

K and Buster love Poppy cat and recently I have been drawn into watching it too.  I love Egbert and he always makes me laugh with both the lines he says and the way he always seems to be so bored or above what the others are doing.  I love the names he comes up with as to what he is doing and how the others just seem to accept him and go with it.

K and Buster received a Poppy Cat, Birthday treasure and other adventures DVD and I saved it for a dull wet morning.  Once on they both sat glued to the screen watching the stories unfold.

This is the first time Poppy Cat will be available on DVD and it will be in shops from the 3rd September 2012

The DVD contains 11 episodes so over 2 hours in total. Voiced by Gavin & Stacey star, Joanna Page, Poppy Cat is a great new British children’s animation based on the best-selling books by author Lara Jones, which have sold in excess of 2.5 million copies.

I love the make believe lands that Poppy Cat and friends visit and love how they use their imaginations which in turns leads to K and Buster thinking up new adventures for themselves when playing.

Poppy Cat will be a firm favourite in this house and we would recommend it as one to buy.
