One piece of hand luggage allowed

Most flights I take these days are on the budget airlines and as such I end up being allowed to take one piece of hand luggage on board. I have got Used to packing on this way – even if I don’t like it – and can fit in a lot!

Last week’s case was within airline standards and contained

  • 3 x trousers
  • 3 x tops
  • 1 pair of flip flops
  • 3 x cardigans
  • 1 pair of shoes
  • 1 pair of sandals
  • underwear
  • make-up
  • toiletries- inside their own plastic bag
  • PJs
  • slipper socks – I won’t walk barefoot in hotel rooms!
  • hairbrush
  • paperback book
  • laptop and case
  • 2 x notebooks
  • various pens and pencils
  • 2 x adapters
  • 1 x phone
  • 1 x purse
  • 1 x handbag
  • various medicines
  • 4 x packs of tissues
  • 1 x spare glasses
  • 1 x kindle
  • car keys
  • 1 x belt
  • 1 x blouse!

I think I have done well to get the above all packed but it does make it heavy though still under 10kgs

My main issue is unpacking it all when I get home again!

The above picture shows the suitcase I use but all other bags thankfully don’t have to be carried along
