An addict no more?

As anyone who knows me would tell you I love sweets- I have always been able to eat my way through a family pack of haribo and still want more.  Packs for sharing? nooooo they are all mine! Any jelly, sour, chewy, marshmallowy sweets and I would be there with my hand in the bag constantly until it came out empty.

Packs seemed to be getting smaller and smaller as no sooner had I started eating then they would be finished.  As the packs were getting smaller I had to buy two packs instead of one and finish both or leave K and Buster a couple as that way I had shared!

Ok I do know the packs weren’t getting smaller I was just being extremely greedy and eating way more than was good for me!

For many years my hands have been shaking and doctors etc. said there was no reason it was just one of those things that happened to me.  As I seldom drink it was embarrassing as if people didn’t know me I worried they would think it was the DT’s.   MrR tried saying it was sugar but how would he know!

Roll on to now and for the last while I have been using Thinking Slimmer and have been testing out their Beat that sweet tooth recording.  For the first week or so I found I still wanted small amounts of sugar but had no interest in sweets.  It has now got to the point were sweets don’t appeal at all and I can’t bring myself to buy or eat any at all.  I can sit in meetings and on long car journeys and not be tempted by sweets on offer which is completely unheard off!

My moods and energy levels were awful to start with but now I feel so much better my PMT isn’t as bad, my energy levels have increased and my mood swings have reduced.  Even better is the fact my shaking hands seem to have stopped unless I eat something sweet like a bun or similar and I don’t eat many of those anymore either.

I am also off all fizzy drinks and no longer have sugar in my tea.  Give it a go it really has worked for me!

I was given a voucher for a free download but all opinions expressed are my own

ohhh! Interesting, I know alot of people who are trying ‘clean’ diets and it seems to be working for them, I don’t think I would have the willpower tho!
