Nearly back up to date!
Monday a day in work and Buster at the childminders and K at school.
Tuesday an early start left the house at 05:10 to catch a flight to Heathrow MrR had taken on an extra shift at work so mum stayed over to mind my two after I left. Got stuck in a huge traffic jam on the M4 for two hours and only made it to the office for 11:00. Had a busy day in the office and then left at 16:30 for the journey home. Got back at 20:45 and was exhausted yet again! MrR had to go to Busters nursery meeting without me and collect the dates etc when he will start in September!
Wednesday gorgeous weather and a day at work! My two loved getting outside
Thursday another glorious day and more fun outside after work.
Friday work and afterwards to mum and dads for chippy night. K and Buster got out the tiny paddling pool and loved playing in it in just their undies. Home late just in time to wake MrR for work- whoops. I started filling the paddling pool and two hours later it was still nowhere near full so I gave up and went to bed. K’s front tooth fell out and the tooth fairy was called to duty
Saturday Beautiful weather still hanging on and so got up early got all the bedding washed and out to dry and started to top up the paddling pool, 2 ½ hours later it still wasn’t finished but that was all was I was doing. My two went into it for 30 minutes at most! MrR got out on his bike before going to bed. Buster and I cleared out one of the outbuildings, filled the car with junk and then K joined us to go to the skip. On the way back we went to mums for a while and then went shopping on the way home for food and wine!
Sunday up early to cut the jungle that is my front garden! MrR and I cut it as best we could and them MrR put down a lot of weed killer on the areas we need to dig up- it’s not great but is a lot better than it was! We then played outside and K and Buster went into the paddling pool for a few minutes- this is when I decided I am buying a smaller one and won’t try using this one! Went to mums for dinner. K got a bit teary so I brought her home and Buster stayed on playing. Buster got a lift home in dads convertible with the roof down, he did have a jacket wrapped round him as he got a bit cold- the journey only takes 10 minutes. Once Buster got home it was bedtime and then I got started on making puppets again.
A week with gorgeous sunny weather and we were all back to health. Next week is a busy one!
