It must be time for some Gruffalo crumble!

Buster turned three on the 05th May and had his party on the same day.  I am only getting to add pictures now due to being unwell and getting behind on blogging!

We decided to have a gruffalo party and loosly followed the story.  I wanted all food to be Buster friendly and as such this limited what we could have.

I made a gruffalo cake which wasn’t dense enough due to being egg free and so started collapsing and ended up being propped up by a marzipan tree!

We made Gruffalo masks, finger puppets and coloured in pictures, and had fun in the playroom!

We had the below food:

Roasted fox – hotdogs

Gruffalo crumble – marshmallow rice krispie buns

Scrambled snake – homemade birthday cones of popcorn in a basket – I made some with salt and some with honey

Owl ice-cream- raspberry ripple ice-cream and Buster had sorbet

Poisonous warts- green grapes

Orange eyes- melon with a small spot of black food dye

Party bages were kept simple and were cones filled with jelly snakes and tied up with ribbon

Buster loved his party and said it wasn’t rubbish at all! unfortunately not too many photos were taken
