Felt playhouse last post

Well I finally finished the felt playhouse and thought I would do a bit of a round up post showing where I got the ideas from etc. I am also using it to join in with this months pinaddicts hosted by Simplyoutnumbered

The initial felt playhouse picture came via Pinterest but was from Homemade by Jill

I adapted it as our table was a lot bigger and as such I added on different parts etc and made up a lot from my head.

I ordered all my felt from fabricland and found them extremely helpful and even with the courier charge they wee still cheaper than buying locally.  I ordered stick on velcro too but found this useless and most has ended up in the bin.  I had tried it on the door but have now left it open.  I need to replace the velcro on the fruit on the tree and will probably use poppers instead.

Buster loved the playhouse and I will get some new photos of it in use added asap- he has been sick from his birthday so we haven’t had a chance for photos.

Edited to add new photos- the house was played with and they had great fun!

You clever, clever woman! I would have given up in all honesty, but every stitch from you is with love and dedication. The tree is very clever.

Gosh that is amazing! I need to make something for my sons bed as the makeshift old duvet cover has been pulled apart. This looks perfect :-)

The finished playhouse looks fantastic and definitely beats an old sheet slung over an airer – which is all I’m capable of!
