The beach

I seldom bring my two to the beach as I hate when I go to ones here and they aren’t particularly clean.  In Dublin last month we visited one and my two loved it as seen here.  From then they have been asking if they can go to one nearer home but so far I have resisted.

In the past I have been at beaches and there are empty drink cans, household rubbish and all sorts of other things dumped on them and it has stopped me returning, that and the fact I hate getting my hands dirty- honestly its not just an excuse!

Next Friday 11th May I will be putting aside my fear of dirty hands and beaches and going with Buster to help with Hazelbank Beach clean.  K will be at school and then will go to her nannies.

Buster loves doing jobs and will adore getting out whether it is dry or pouring down. The Beach clean will happen no matter what the weather conditions are.  There will be a barbecue too held by M&S but we won’t  be staying for that as Buster won’t be able to eat anything.  There are also fun packs online which we will print off etc for K to use.

If you are interested in coming along to help you can find out more information here the clean up starts at 09:45 and should be a good day out.

Will K not be upset that she isn’t going?

I hate litter on the beach. Son dropped a wrapper today and I made him chase halfway across the sand to fetch it back! x

I hate and detest litter on the beach. The picnic wrappers wind me up a lot, but worse are the nappies etc. I’m lucky because we have a blue flag beach ten mins down the road, hope he had fun on the clean up.
