Felt playhouse – first update

I have been trying to sew every night once Buster and K go to bed, this hasn’t been easy as if they wake I have to quickly clear everything and when we were away I didn’t take the sewing with me.

I have sewn up most parts on the actual frame so can hopefully start getting the sides and roof sewn together soon.  I still have decorations etc to sew but I think i am slowly seeing the finish line in sight!

The front is nearly finished but I still have to do curtains and maybe sew in some plants.  The door is on velcro so can (hopefully) be closed. twopointfourchildrenThe mail box flap lifts up so post can be put inside.

This one is finished I think! The dogs face is padded and the flap comes down to cover him.  Buster calls himself Sam and Sammy when playing so that is where the name came from.

I think this one is complete now too.  The lemons and apples are all stuck on with velcro so can be removed.

This one doesn’t look like much but it will be a shop, the baskets will be full, list below of what they will contain below; and the pink curtain will lift for the shop front.  I need to make an open and closed sign.

Inside the baskets will be

  • Fish
  • Carrots
  • Chicken drumsticks
  • onions
  • sweetcorn
  • apples
  • oranges
  • do-noughts
  • a cupcake
  • ice cream cones
  • and lastly lollipops

I will be glad to get this finished!
